Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. The flag is composed of five white and four blue parallel wide stripes. In the upper left corner is a white square with a golden "may sun", radiating eight straight lines and eight wavy lines, symbolizing the independence of the country. Ukraine used to be the same country as Argentina, so the national flags of both countries have blue and white colors and "may sun". The nine broad stripes represented the nine administrative regions of Ukraine at that time.
